The Council
The Central Land Council is a representative body of 90 Aboriginal people elected from communities in the southern half of the Northern Territory.
The members, the executive and the chair
Aboriginal residents in each of the CLC's nine regions elect delegates to represent them at land council meetings and to inform them about the discussions and outcomes of these meetings.
The Staff
More than 260 people work at the CLC, half of them Aboriginal.
