Papunya Outstations
Languages: Luritja, Aranda, Pitjantjatjara, Warlpiri, Pitubi and English.
Director of the Papunya Store and former president of the MacDonnell Regional Council and deputy chair of the CLC. Papunya Eagles coach “I am setting up a new football league.”

CLC delegate Sammy ButcherSAMMY BUTCHER

Languages: Luritja, Warlpiri and English.
Deputy chair of the CLC and well known musician who used to play with the Warumpi Band. Mentors youth through music. "I am a role model and care for lots of kids. I am proud of who I am and the journey of my life." “Even though we struggle we still made it happen. I am a strong man with a strong voice and I am responsible for educating young ones and respecting others!”

Ikuntji (Haasts Bluff)
Languages: Luritja, Warlpiri and English.
Former CLC regional officer and art centre worker. "I'm proud of my music. In the early 80's I started the Warumpi Band with my brother Sammy. We paved the way for the younger bands, showed them the way and they followed in our footsteps. A lot of young bands are coming up from the communities and sing in language. One day I want to own a Harley Davidson.”

Ikuntji (Haasts Bluff) Outstations
Languages: Luritja, Pitjantjatjara, Pintubi, Arrernte, Warlpiri and English.      
Chair of Ikuntji’s store corporation. Used to work at the store and for night patrol. Former stockman and Warumpi Band roady. “I am proud of who and I what I stand for. I stand for my people, my land and my culture. Culture and the land are very important. I am a role model for young people.”

Mount Liebig (Amundurrngu)
Languages: Luritja and English.
Night patrol team leader, learned to weld at Mt Liebig and is completing a literacy course at Batchelor Institute. "I am still learning to read well. I take care of my country and Mt Liebig and keep the community clean."

CLC delegate Rodrick KantamaraRODERICK KANTAMARA

Mount Liebig Outstations
Languages: Luritja, Walpiri, Ngaanyatjarra and English. 
Worked for night patrol and as assistant teacher at Amundurrngu (Mt Liebig). "I am a pastor and I gave my life to god. I used to travel everywhere for gospel and teaching. For the last couple of years I've been working with young people, catching and breaking in horses. I try to teach and encourage others."

Walungurru (Kintore)
Languages: Luritja, Ngaanyatjarra, Pintubi and English.     
Elder and community leader. Member of Kintore's clinic council, store and social club committees. “I’m really interested in Kintore community getting a ranger group and mobile phone coverage. We want to see it happening!”

Languages: Pintupi, Luritja and English.
"I am trying to be strong for my community at meetings. I am a new CLC delegate and want to stick on for the next three years, be strong at CLC meetings. I will be there."

CLC delegate Terry MorrisTERRY MORRIS

Languages: Luritja and English.
"I am coming to meetings so I can learn more. I've been on the land council for a while now and am still learning. I need to listen to the old people, then I will start to speak up."
